The Start Menu in Windows 8…sorta

If you’re a Windows 7 fan and you’re stuck with Windows 8 until Windows 10 is released summer 2015, and you really hate the Start screen, here’s a no-download way to getting the Start menu on Windows 8.

1. Enter the desktop screen.

2. Find the Windows button in the bottom-left hand corner.

3. Right-click the Windows button. A pop-up menu like the Start menu should appear:

This “Start menu” has most of the features of the Windows 7, XP, etc. versions except for several account options, which you will still need to enter the Start screen for. Other then that, there’s your Windows 8 Start menu!
