The new Macbook is just plain outdated

Benchmarks for the Macbook 2015’s processor were released some weeks ago, and it really shocked me when I saw all the details.

The Macbook Air’s Intel Core i5 run at a decent 1.6 GHz with a Turbo-Boost up to 2.7 GHz, which is quite impressive. The New Macbook, however, has a much, much weaker processor. The Intel Core M found inside the Macbook 2015 runs at a shockingly slow 1.1 GHz (that’s worth a laugh), with a Turbo-Boost up to 2.4 GHz.

A 1.1 GHz processor is around the speed of a processor of a PC in 2011. And we’re in 2015, if you didn’t know.

That’s just another reason not to buy the new Macbook.
